This pair of Planchart tables, executed with diamond-patterned steel frames and hand painted using primary colors, are icons of Gio Ponti's "Arlecchino design" inspired by the Italian Arlecchino (Harlequin) character. These tables, which have been meticulously restored to their original colors, reflect the fine hand crafted steel fabrication of the 1950s.
