Artist and Industrial Designer Matthias Gschwendtner transform old pieces of furniture into new objects. This early study of the "New Sources" Project is made from repurposed chair parts, 3D-scanned, then virtually processed to recalculate individual assembly and tailor cut with precisely milled surfaces and edges using a robot arm. The final stool is surfaced with a black textured powder coat.
